Evening, kat.
Good post.

Ah, yes. Hackworth, who is employing a neonazi nut who spends much of his time arguing that the planes flying into the towers on 9/11 were remote-controlled by Israelis and that Israel must be eradicated.
And Hackworth the "war hero", whose record also includes procuring prostitutes and setting up a bordello for his soldiers.
An interesting review. Further insight into her views can be found at:

You must be kidding about the remote controlled planes...Good Grief! Hackworth lost his credibilty with me long ago....

No.
This is a page introducing Ralph Omholt, aka "Skydrifter" (a name you'll find elsewhere like Libertypost, Vanguard and Freedomunderground):
Defensewatch editor "Skydrifter"
Here's Omholt's conspiracy fantasy (not only did Arab terrorists NOT fly the planes into the twin towers, but the other two flights were landed at some military base and hidden, whereupon someone blew up the Pentagon. I don't know where he thinks the passengers are being held.
And here's another of "Skydrifter"'s pages, just tying in his identity from the reverse side:
Well, nothing special, just an acutely disgruntled ex-employee, garden variety case.
Indeed. He is an antisemitic loony tune :). But Hackworth obviously values him and his loony antics - as an editor for Hackworth's Defensewatch. Which ought to be a pointer to what level of credibility to expect from that rag.
"The Left has finally found a soldier it can support: Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, formerly of the Department of Defense. Of course, she's a crackpot who claims George W. Bush toppled Saddam Hussein, because Hussein's trade under the abused Oil-for-Food program was conducted in Euros, rather than dollars."
I listened to Lt. Col. Kwiatkowski on the Ron Smith show (local conservative talk host in Baltimore), and she sounded pretty sane to me.
"A recently retired USAF lieutenant colonel, Kwiatkowski is making a name for herself in the media, writing for the American Conservative, Salon, LewRockwell.com, MilitaryWeek.Com and a growing list of leftist publications."
Yeah, AmCon, LewRockwell, and MilitaryWeek are really left-wing publications. (eyes rolling)
Let me suggest a different explanation. Reasonable people can differ on the war in Iraq without being hate-America leftists. The fact that the Left trumpets their dissent does not make them leftists. Demonizing your opponent for disagreeing with your policies is something that the Clintonistas excelled at. Looks like many conservatives have decided to emulate them.
You misread the sentence. The line you quote from the article isn't saying that they are left-wing publications. It's merely listing who's published Kwiatkowski's work, noting the names of the web sites "and a growing list of leftist publications." It doesn't say "and a growing list of other leftist publications."
Oh yeah. Sane.
Kwiatkowski is making a name for herself in the media, writing for the American Conservative
Along with Samuel Francis, the other "conservative".
Who is this woman?
Pentagon speak for cubicle rat and coffee cup attendant.
...A recently retired USAF lieutenant colonel,
If she opted to retire, then she didn't resign in protest. Hardly what I call standing on principle. Just another Clintonite rat jumping the good ship USS Pentagon one step ahead of the fumigation team of Rummy and Associates.
> Along with Samuel Francis, the other "conservative". <
Let me get this straight. You don't think Sam Francis is a conservative?
Yeah, prety much. No one listens to LTCs at the Pentagon.
ROFL!
