I'll take his underrated Westerns:
The Man from the Alamo (1953) .... John Stroud
The Violent Men (1955) .... John Parrish
Jubal (1956) .... Jubal Troop
The Sheepman (1958) .... Jason Sweet
Cimmaron (1961) .... Clancy

Check out The Big Heat...a film noir directed by Fritz Lang. He's great in that.

By far, my favorite Glenn Ford film was from 1955, called
"TRIAL", directed by Mark Robson, also starring Arthur Kennedy. One of the first films to expose the early machinations of the postwar American Left, its cynicism and hypocrisy and ruthlessness. SEE IT!! Find out more about it!! GOOGLE it!

"Fate is the Hunter". Nice choice! Great flick!
To: Lando Lincoln
I once read that the three fastest "quick-draws" in old westerns were: 1. Sammy Davis Jr.; 2. Glenn Ford; and 3. Jerry Lewis. I have no idea how this pertains to the article!
Laughing my @ss off Lando. That was a hysterical line.
