MTV itself is pretty much this kind of a channel anyway.

EXECUTIVES of MTV Networks seemed to be caught a bit off guard by the hostile reaction to their announcement last week that they intend to create the first cable entertainment channel devoted to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender viewers, called Logo. Are they really that stupid?

They were "caught off guard" by the reaction?
Do these guys ever get out of their ivory towers and talk to the regular folks?

MTV just found out that there indoctrination plan is running a year or two behind schedule.
They'll program accordingly.

Homosexual Agenda Ping - Another article about the all homo-all the time channel.
Two motives - money, but primarily indoctrination. The homosexual indoctrinators can't sleep at night because some people still don't celebrate the "gay/lesbian/transsexual/pansexual/bisexual" life.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this ping list.

A Home for a Gay Channel Are they talking about the same "Gay Channel" that is the cause of the AIDS epidemic?

What network ISN'T a shill for the gay lobby? This is not news. News would be a "Straight Channel".

MTV Networks is the only cable group with both the cultural position and, more importantly, the clout in the industry to launch a channel with so many enemies. And why, pray tell, would any company interested in making money "launch a channel with so many enemies?"
Shades of Err America!
To: Cracker72
You know what would be cool? A channel that plays nothing but music videos. Maybe MTV could work on something like that.

How many times is MTV-Viacommie going to "announce" this channel?
I don't complain because this story has been posted for many months, I complain because it is still "news" to the New York press.
Just like the "news" of Herr America's launch. The NEWS of Err America's failure does not make headlines to much of the liberal establishment.
Gay-cable will be subsidized by all viewers whether or not they watch the channel (their cable/satellite bill will still go in part to Viacom).

Ms. McGrath said that despite charges that the programming would be immoral and anti-family, the content would be "everyday basic cable television fare." Note to NYSlimes: those two statements are not exclusionary. They BOTH can be true.
