Last half hour on the John Gambling Show on WABC Radio NYC, John was talking about a NY morning radio person from another station was saying something like 'now look at the beheadings because of what we're doing'. The only two that I can think of would be Imus or Howard. I would think both of them would be above saying something like that, but they have both said lots of stupid things. Gambling was very vauge, so it could well be someone else, maybe he was listening to Franken's lib station(they are still on the air, right?).

Anybody else hear(or about) the comments John was talking about?

At the end of subtitle E of title X, add the following:

SEC. 1044. REALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR GROUND-BASED MIDCOURSE DEFENSE PROGRAM INTERCEPTORS TO HOMELAND DEFENSE AND COMBATING TERRORISM.

(a) REDUCTION.--Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, the total amount authorized to be appropriated by section 201(4) for research, development, test, and evaluation, Defense-wide activities, is hereby reduced by $515,500,000, with the amount of the reduction to be allocated to amounts available for the Missile Defense Agency for Ground-based Midcourse interceptors.

I can't remember who had any earlier amendment, I think it was Boxer, that stated she didn't want funding [for missile def.] until AFTER it was proven it would work.
