I love merlot too. But I've had too many times where I drank a bottle and a 6-pack of beer over a night, and was still sick 24 hours later.
Now I'm drinking Sake, which is better than normal white wine, but since it's clear it's much easier on the hangover.
It's been 3.2 since I can remember... I suppose they reckoned folks wouldn't get as sloshed on the low test variety. Having grown up here, I did get quite a surprise on a business trip to Kentucky... had three beers with supper and they rang my bell :oO
Cold!!!!
"Alcohol! The cause of, and solution to,all of life's problems!!"
3.2 beer gives a nastier hang-over.
I drink strong beer like Michelob Amber Bock, so I will never get hung-over by beer.
That is a good statement.
I would caution against drinking every day, or most every day.
I drink once a month.
I have never had sake.
Is it strong?
LOL.
You like ice beer varieties?
I drank non-alcoholic beer throughout my pregnancy......I'll never forget the feeling I got the first time I drank a real beer after the baby was born.........YIKES it went straight to my head
I like O'Doul's by Anheuser Busch.
Also, Texas Select is a good N/A beer.
It's about 16-20% alcohol, considerably stronger than standard wine.
Good stuff :)
It has quite an 'acohol' taste though. It's almost a combination of vodka-ish taste and wine.
I don't care for the ice beers.
I will occassionally have Yeungling Black & Tan if I can get it on tap, but generally I'm not a purist and stick to the basics, Coors, Miller. The new Michelob low-carb beer (can't think of it's name off hand) is pretty good, on tap. Other than Mich and Busch I do not drink any other Annheiseur Busch products - they give me nasty headaches after the first one.
I will have to give it a try.
It should not bother me too much, since I like to fortify my beer by drinking it half-way down, then adding vodka to it, then drinking the rest.
I drink at home, so I do not worry about putting the alcool down my hatch when I drink.
Are you referring to Michelob Ultra?
Bud Ice was acceptable for awhile, I noticed it made me sicker than most anything else. It sure is cheap though, $3.85 a six-pack heh.
My preference for N/A was Coors Cutter. Just like real stuff the O'Doul's gives me a nasty headache.
Exaliber is pretty good also, I think that is made by Heinikin.
i didn't know Heineken made a N/A beer.
Heineken is a good beer though.
Coors Banquet beer was really good.
Too bad they don't make it anymore.
You ever drank it?
Thank you - that's it.
Natural Ice is 5.45 a 12 pack in bottles.
It is a real good beer.
You had it yet?
A friend of mine brought some Michelob Ultra to the house a few weeks ago.
It is a potent low-carb beer.
Isn't low-carb supposed to be the same alcohol content-wise as regular beer, but just lowered amount of carbs?
