No as a matter of fact Mr know it all she was kidnapped, raped and beaten. If it hadn't been for the kidnapping part the perp would have walked. You are letting your idol worship of celebs and your over indulgence in network news form your opinion.
First of all its not MR., so your wrong right off the bat, I won't bother to comment on the rest of it, since you couldn't even glean the facts off my posts to tell that I am a woman. I doubt you have the facts correct on the information you posted either.

1) Kobe had an impeccable reputation before this accusation, that's the reputation being discussed.
2) I agree that cheating on one's spouse is wrong and can lead to problems.
3) 30 some years ago when I was a married man in my mid-twenties; if I were 1000 miles away from home and a young attractive chippie came on to me (a very famous very wealthy version of me) in my 5 star hotel suite...heck I don't know how virtuous I would have been...and I don't consider myself a scumbag. Well I never have been rich and famous nor has such a thing happened to me, so maybe I am a closet scumbag.
Of course I've never called anyone a scumbag.
