NBC's Dateline just aired the Thomas Hammill interview and DID NOT mention Hammill's emphatic support of President Bush's policy in Iraq. Fox News Channel did broadcast Hammill's positive comments about Bush.
I've been reading Jason's blog for a few months now. He was in Iraq for a year and (as a now unemployed? financial writer) is taking exception to the media coverage of the military. I wish some big organization would hire him.
I'm not aware of who may be compiling such a document since the Bush administration.
This CRAP is why Bush will blow out Kerry. The mainstream media can only create hysteria for a few weeks, as they have done over the prison scandal, which followed the 9-11 commission scandal, which followed the Dick Clarke scandal, which followed the . . . oh, hell, I forget because they keep inventing scandals. The economy is hitting on all cylinders and the situation in Iraq is nothing like what the media has portrayed. They shot their load too soon. During the next five months, the economy and the situation in Iraq are going to swing so far into Bush's column that Kerry will be a footnote next to his former running mate in MA, Gov. Dukakis.
