They just keep on shoving it down our throats. It's time for the FCC to allow us to chose which channels we want to pay for instead of forcing us to pay for this thru our cable/sattelite bills

Exactly right. IF (big if) there was a menu system to pick and choos cable stations to subscribe to - some of this crap would simply disappear because the market would not support it. The technology is there and it's already in place in a macro level with the different "packages" consumers now buy - but it's about the money higher up in the entertainment food chain. Keep demanding and someday a smart cable provider will over the service - this will break the dam and they all will follow.
