Didn't they try that a few times before? '48, '56', '67 and finally '73. Each time they got their asses handed to them. It was close enough in '73 that they almost managed to get them nuked.
The only way they'll ever be able to pull it off is to nuke Israel. They would if they could of course, and probably will try it one day soon. However Israel is way ahead on the technology curve, and has defenses against such an attack. They also have plenty of retaliatory firepower. They also have a history of nipping such threats in bud. Ask Saddam about his Osrik(sic) reactor.

The problem is that this was only rhetorical. To be effective in dealing with this sort of "person", you have use a real gun.
Here's how I see it.
Many on the left support drastic population control and decrease. Many adher to the 500 million rule: that earth can only safely handle this much humanity. You here this mantra constantly here on the left coast. Islam is the culture of death, openly advocates and practices putting to death of millions in the name of their religion. How better to acheive the left's aim then directly using this religion to attain this goal.
The left practices denial and narcissism. They think they won't be among the unfortunate that are killed or sacrificed.
Meanwhile, when it's all sorted out the left will be left with a world filled with mostly liberals and lots of oil.
Like I said, you actually here many liberals expounding on this simplistic nonsense here on the left coast all the time.

Liberalism is suicide. It demands that you take no action until the enemy is at your throat or has already plunged a dagger into you. By then it is too late. It allows the enemy to infiltrate and grow, and when it becomes politically powerful it panders to it to get votes.

Not really, that amount of ammo is only a few days worth for American gun owners. Just counting NRA members, and those with the most ammo may not be NRA members, there are four million. That's only 12.5 rounds each. Even allowing for missing it's only a few boxes of ammo each. Right now I've got more than that in my trunk. :)
Total number of gunowners is much higher of course, maybe about one American gunowner per Islamofascist.
We have the ammunition, the question involves the will to use it.

Where to turn and what is the future direction is the question. If Bush honestly stated that this is a religious war and that the enemy numbers in the millions within the Muslim Faith "of peace" he could then set the agenda.
However, my guess is that GWB will try to be PC and therefore loose the battle of words. Political Correctness will destroy this country in the end.

You make a very good point.
Moslems want to kill the Jews or convert them to Islam. The Christians made so many attempts in the past to do the same. Why not simply do your thing, and forget what the other guy believes in? This religion thing creates lots of irrational behaviors. Now that I dissed the Moslem, and the Christians, I feel that I have to be an equal opportunity guy. The Jews who have a nice place in Brooklyn or Long Island, why are they leaving to go and live next to the barbarian ragheads? Its all Greek to me!
