Jones Plaza is in downtown Houston.... Just south of I-10 on Smith Street.

I suspect I-45 to I-10 is the best way. It is a holiday so traffic shouldn't be THAT bad. I would advise getting there early.

Thanks Petroni for the answer. I was wondering if we would go someplace for food afterward. That was so much FUN last year going to Griff's for burgers, smokes, beer. My poor husband isn't into all this political stuff, but he went along as a good sport. He is conservative, just not an activist like me. I work closely with our county chairman of the Republican party. She is one of my dearest friends. She is about ten years older than me and she is kinda training me in!!!!! She was at the last RNC national convention, we had a blast watching her and the other Texans on TV during the convention!

Get there early. It was an overflow crowd last time (10,000) and Jones Plaza isn't that big.
