The live thread that was posted a couple of weeks ago during one of the Rummy Defense Operations in DC was great to follow. Maybe StayatHomeMom could do it again.

Yes, we are trying to set up another telephone-in live thread. Sometimes the chanting gets too loud to hear much; sometimes BillF, Kristinn, Angelwood, tgslTakoma, and the rest get interrupted by protesters or reporters, but still they do a great job of provided a play-by-play. If those who plan to come will send me a FReepmail in advance, I'll prepare an initial message that will at least spell your name right!

[I have the easy part. I get to stay inside where it's dry and air conditioned while the REAL FReepers are on the Front Lines. Oh, well. Maybe the worst of the cicada season will be over by then.]

In other words, I have no idea right now. Kristinn and Angelwood will post an announcement, usually at the last minute - to keep the lefties out of the loop as much as possible. Keep an eye out for the announcement. We have you on the DC Chapter ping list, so you should hear from us by next Weds or Thurs.

You're not kidding about the "interuptions" during our on-site telephone reporting. We all have learned to multi-task at these things, but it can get hectic. Some of us look like a Rube Goldberg contraption, with cameras, megaphones, cell phones, signs, etc., hanging around our necks and attached to our appendages. I've been tempted to buy one of those multi-pocketed vests that you see the pro photogs wearing, to hold some of the stuff I need to keep at-the-ready. It's on my to-do list.

Hey I think you should pass this idea to Rumsfeld, in fact a large Movie Screen would be even better, the type used in old drive-in's...this would horrify them and they couldn't march in front of it....you have a million dollor idea here and it should not be wasted!!! PASS IT ON!!

AHHHH... so now we know what "working class neighborhoods" the cANSWER march will pass through, up 14th St. to U and across Florida Ave. to Connecticut Ave.

Brian Becker, International cANSWER co-founder and member of the Workers World Party Secretariat and his female commie jackboot comrade Mara VerHeyden-Hilliard will be able to ride the long and mostly uphill route in the sound truck; but all those lowly "working class" marchers are gonna be mightily tired by the time they march that route.

I'm sure they'll be flying commie and anarchist flags along their march. Speaking of which, their march route is THREE MILES LONG, and the last mile (approx) of the march is UPHILL.

But of course, the esteemed commie leaders of the march/rally - being MORE EQUAL than their audience - will be riding in the commie sound truck the entire way.
