But on Tuesday, commission member John Lehman said the failure of city agencies to communicate effectively on 9/11 was a scandal "not worthy of the Boy Scouts, let alone this great city."

Sounds like the panel has truly descended into a partisan joke.

After testifying, Giuliani suggested that Lehman owed his staff an apology.

Viva Rudy. He has more cajones in his little finger than Trent Lott and Arlen Specter combined.

These greedy, obnoxious 9-11 families have got NO MORE invested in this than the rest of the United States! They are NOT on higher ground than those of us whose reletives were not in the towers.

On 9-11 the UNITED STATES was attacked - the "victims" are just that-VICTIMS. They have no higher authority - nor have they lost more that ALL OF US lost.

I'm rambling I know, but I am SICK and TIRED of hanging on every word that is spoken by the "victims" a-hole families! Our sons and daughters are at WAR they are DYING because of the 9-11 victim families.

STFU you effing bunch of liberal, greedy, SOB's!!!!!

Instead, he said, the Commission hoped to save the lives of other Americans-a comment that drew more applause.

...and riotous laughter.

"You're simply wasting time at this point," commission head Thomas Kean told the family members.

"YOU'RE wasting time!" came the angry reply.

That's about the only statement the 911 families have gotten right. Kean is wasting time - he should be putting Jamie Gorelick in the witness chair.

I know the president appointed this commission, and I know he believes in getting things out in the open. But if he has any hopes of being a master politician/ leader, he should come out against the commission, the media, ted kennedy, and the whole slew of leftists that are busily worshipping a golden calf at graet risk to our nation. He owes it to the nation, and it will work. Why is Giuliani the only one with the brass to assert some common sense?

"Three thousand people are dead!" Brodeur yelled before security guards escorted him out. "They were not killed because he's a great leader. ..."

They were killed because the terrorists chose to kill them.

I'm not from NY but what are these people talking about?

I have been sick of these families (the greedy ones anyway) for quite awhile. Obnoxious is the correct.

I also agree with your overall point.

You do know that Lehman and Giuliani both belong to the same political party, don't you?

Are these the same guys who are now millionaires because of the generosity of many people? They don't count their present blessings. Where would they be without all this generosity? They would be going through very difficult financial times. I wonder how some of these folks would feel and react after receiving all this cash and their spouse suddenly comes walking through the door…”Hi. I’m home, honey.”

The most sickening part of this whole exercise has been the media's portrayal of the 9/11 Commission.

The fawning coverage; Yecch! I can't stand it anymore! Whenever Tom Kean or ol' dry bones collect themselves for a joint press conference, I want to hurl.

I did find the Christopher Brodeur incident slightly amusing though.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the delusional psychopaths who form their own cottage industry in this town; Brodeur is the perennial menace of Mayor Giuliani, stalking him like an unrequited love, throughout the plains and dunes, across the City and the nation.

This guy's extensive resume includes making harassing phone calls to 77 WABC, writing meandering, self-indulgent letters-of two or more pages in length-to the New York Press, and generally making a public nuisance of himself. In this last capacity he decided to outdo himself by standing for election in the 2001 NYC Mayoral race.

Even other delusional, myopic, radical idiots who reside within the five boroughs look on this man with disdain.

He is truly a pathetic waste of genomic material.
