Y'know, it's interesting that Costco had trouble with contaminated hamburger meat a few years back and now this. Not that they're RELATED, but mebbe the buyers for the chain--in pursuit of a great buy--go to vendors that are less scrupulous with hygeine.

The recalled almonds sold under the Kirkland Signature brand are specifically labeled as raw. They were sold in 3-pound, lay flat plastic bags and stamped with a "best before" date from 8/21/04 to 2/8/05. How about a "worst before" date...
