I disagree. While her face is not downright ugly, she has way too much jaw - she got her dad's face from the cheekbones down. Her eyes and forehead are completely out of proportion with the rest of her face. Distinguished, perhaps . . . striking, maybe, with the right hair and makeup, but not handsome.

And as for the rest of her, she has made a habit of going without a bra for too many years. Her breasts are sagging way too much for their size and her age. My OB/GYN told me years ago that the "bra burning" fad was going to result in a lot of ladies' bosoms surrendering to gravity far too early. Looks like he was right.

Anyway, what's wrong with a nice simple black satin strapless bra and black panties for heaven's sake????

You know, I think we've finally solved the riddle of why JF'nK, when on vacation the other month, took his daughter along with him to the store to buy a jockstrap.

I agree about the idea of nice underwear making the difference. More than the upper body, it's the undies that are a distressing revelation.

The upper body distresses me because I hate to see somebody who has "let herself go" . . . but the undies do just jump out atchya like a neon sign. And they're athletic undies or those things women wear over a leotard - not even nice panties.

On further consideration, I think a strapless bodysuit would have been the way to go. My mom has one that she wears under a sheer gown - very supportive and very flattering. (I hasten to add that even though she's 78 years old, she's a professional dancer and has done a better job of keeping herself in good shape than her 49 year old amateur-athlete daughter. :-( )
