"The bloody blundering in Iraq," Anson writes, "has produced a new bumper sticker: 'When Clinton Lied, Nobody Died.' "

Yah sure...just ask those 800K Rwandans (oops--sorry you can't). But I guess dead Africans don't count to democraps...

Are you suggesting Bill Clinton may have ADD?

Ritalin might solve his problems.

It's actually a shame that never in Clinton's life did he encounter a man of strength and moral conviction that would recognize his potential and take him aside to straighten him out and put him on the right path.

Maybe decent men wanted nothing to do with such a boy.

Yeah...George Washington never did more than get his face on the buck and the quarter. Sad commentary, eh?

Now, watching Clinton, he concludes that the ex-prez suffers from "spotlight starvation" -- a compulsion characterized by "a hankering for attention that makes him a joke even to admirers."

Combine that with the fact that he dearly loves the sound of his own voice. Pathetic.

"In a recent poll, Americans ranked Clinton the third greatest president in history, right after Lincoln and JFK."

If this poll is representative of America as a whole then it has become a hole not worth living in.

Between the three mentioned, I would say the only competition is for WORST president in history.

1992-2000 Clinton continuously lied. It is for this reason alone that on 911 more than 3,000 people died.

Worried about his "legacy?" Bill should have wondered about that while he was in office, not after he left. Does Bill or Hillary ever think about the continuous attacks on American citizens, soldiers, and allies throughout their 1992-2000 tenure? This includes the 1993 bombing of the WTC the first time.

Like so many other democrats, their priorities are very skewed. At the time, it was more important for them to be seen in a photo op kissing Yasser Arrafat and his wife, and using Carville to unseat the the sitting leader of Isreal to replace him with Barak. Looking the other way made it easier for the Clintons to get into places to be photographed where third world leaders and terrorists thrived.

The Clinton "legacy" proves over and over again that they (the democrats) were more concerned with leaving George Bush with a big Clinton Mess than they ever were with our national security. Had the Clintons not been so self absorbed between 1992-2000, the INS would not have been used as a Ticketron for a free pass into the US by foreign criminals in order to secure democratic votes. If all the "Saddam condemnations" by Clinton and his cronies between 1992-2000 meant anything at all, Iraq would not be an issue today. It would have and should have been handled ten years ago.

Had Clinton bothered to do his job while he was in office, the 911 attacks on US soil would have been curtailed, and we would not be in Iraq today.

But his charisma is still intact and when he strolls down the street, Anson reports, people yell, "I wish you were still president."

I don't fear the bee esser from Hope, I fear the people who elected him. TWICE!!

They have the same herd mentality that the Germans had in the early thirties, and look who they elected!

"He's about the smartest guy I ever knew in my life," says Don Hewitt, the veteran "60 Minutes" producer who hired and fired Clinton, but "he is torn in a million directions."

Here is an oldie but a goodie: Can the President Think? It's a long article, the gist of which is here:

On June 7, 1994, Bob Woodward was interviewed on C-SPAN about The Agenda. The discussion moved to Hillary Clinton, and Woodward said in emphatic tones, "I'd go so far as to say she's a part of Bill Clinton's brain."

That is both the most extreme and the most accurate description of Hillary Clinton that anyone has yet offered. It is the only reason for which Hillary Clinton is a significant American figure. She has been flattered by the feminist movement, which, like New York Times columnist Anna Quindlen, imagines her to have a "great mind." She has been abused by certain conservatives who, like Richard Nixon, believe that such an intelligent, self-assertive woman turns her husband into a "wimp." Both those characterizations miss the mark. Hillary is a bright woman lawyer of the kind one sees by the dozens on CNN and C-SPAN, only they have earned their positions while she has married hers. Her actual importance lies in one realm alone. She is known to be a prop to her husband's mind, and her husband is president of the United States.

To an inordinate degree Hillary Clinton thinks for Bill Clinton.

Specifically, she is Bill Clinton's access to the laws of logic, without which no thinking is possible. Leon Wieseltier of The New Republic has discussed Clinton's blindness to logic on a number of occasions. On February 1, 1993, he wrote, "The most disturbing quality about Clinton is his indifference to contradiction. Not excluding the political middle by not excluding the logical middle, that appears to be Clinton's strategy. And so he can hold in his mind simultaneously, and sincerely, notions that cannot really be held together." And, again in the July 19-26, 1993 issue: "He lives without the law of contradiction."

Hillary Clinton provides Clinton with certain narrow logical skills of which he is singularly bereft. This does not imply that she is Aristotle, any more than a seeing-eye dog is a cartographer. It implies only that as compared to Clinton, the blazing Bubba, Mrs. Clinton is on speaking terms with logic, and he cannot function without her.

IOW, the guy is cut off from his mental support. The only -- only -- way he gets it back, is if Hillary Clinton becomes president. So when you combine Bill Clinton's narcissism with desparation, you get a very interesting 2004 campaign.

I remember an old classic SNL skit with John Belushi, "The Thing that wouldn't Leave". Bill Clinton.the thing that wouldn't leave. "You got any more dip?"

I have this saved from somebodys very clear F.R. post from 2001:

"...As his Legacy shows,is there any possibility that Clinton ever had for anything
resembling anything but mediocrity? I have not found any evidence for his
presumed brains, either in any academic performance, undergraduate,
graduate(Bork) and Oxford(Rhodes), anything that he did or said in 8 years.
I don't believe there is any evidence of substance in him, least of all
intellectually. He managed to stay one step ahead of his critics from the
lousy performance in Arkansas into the White House. There he had a galaxy of
spinners who spread the usual line about him and did con a certain amount of
people to believe him. An intelligent person may make a misstep once in a
while, but he is so dopey that he is always in hot water. He is Forrest Gump
period. The last step took him out of the White House and now he is brought
to bay and cannot any longer lie his way out of circumstances. Now he only
sounds pathetic and loathesome in retrospect for what he did while
president. He never had any promise and those close to him knew it. Let him
swing in the wind. He is only getting what he deserves-probably much less in
fact..."

SLAP!
