Did I miss something? Where/when/who in the admin has said the recent finds of sarin & mustard gas prove the case for WMDs in Iraq in the quantities stated before the invasion?

There will be a long wait for this sorry piece of human debris to apologize for anything. He is to far above anyone to say he is sorry to a bunch of peon's such as us.

In John Kerry's defense, he did say that Iraq had WMDs before he said they didn't.

The reason to go to war wasn't based on a specific amount of the WMD's, it was having them in the first place, and not living up to their cease fire agreements and UN resolutions. And what makes you think there isn't more out there? You will say "Well, what makes you think there are?". My answer is that they never accounted for destroying what they had in 1998.

Just how much of this stuff do they have to find to satisfy you?

"Just how much of this stuff do they have to find to satisfy you?"

Enough to cause real damage - and something a bit closer to what we said we knew they had - we even knew where it was (quoting VP Cheney). But, my question right now is - where are the statements from the Bush Admin. claiming these finds are the 'mother lode' we've been looking for from day 1?
What it takes to satisfy me isn't the point. The point really is = how much does it take to satisfy the admin that we have found the epemeral WMDs?

There will be no apology from Kerry to Bush. To apologize would be to admit that the original accusation that "Bush lied!" was a fabrication, based on betting that Saddam managed to hide all the WMD.

I frankly love the way the Bush administration is keeping a low profile on this huge story. The Kerry people better watch out, because it is highly evident to me that once again, GWB is in the midst of one of his famous "rope-a-dope" maneuvers. Notice how many weeks they sat on the mustard gas discovery? Makes you wonder how much more they know today . . .
If there are ANY smart Democrats out there (that's a big IF), I would caution them go crawl back under their rocks.
And, in Kennedy's case, he can drown himself with something on the rocks.

So true!

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."

Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

No need for them to make the statements - the sarin and mustard gas speaks for itself. It really wouldn't hurt Kerry all that much had he not been so stupid as to say Bush "misled" on WMD's. If Bush was wrong, it was because of bad intellegence not because he "misled", especially in light of comments from Democrats since the 1990's saying Saddam had this stuff.

And please define "real damage". My understanding of sarin is that it was used by the wacko in Japan a few years ago and killed a bunch of people in the subway. What happened if they did that in New York. To me, one American life is "real damage" from terrorist action.

Sarin is not a WMD, not that it matters to this crowd. That it was probably 15 years old, dated from the Iran-Iraq War makes it most disingenuous that the WMDeadEnders are asking for an apology.
