Then believe it. Kerry has zip for support. His only position is "hey.......I'm not Bush!". That does NOT motivate the middle or anyone else but the hardest of hard core libs. He's going to get his butt handed to him in November. The Democratic Party leadership know this; they realize what an empty suit they got stuck with and they're nigh unto panicking (can you say "buyers' remorse"???). You can take that to the bank.

I have seen it stated on this forum that, "half of the people have an I.Q. below 100. I don't know if this is exactly correct mathematically but the general idea is obviously correct. The great shame of this nation is that all these people are allowed to vote. The stupid usually perceive great wisdom in stupid ideas advanced by stupid or diabolical politicians and see any program based on realistic thinking as being stupid.

The writer may have been using liberalism in its older meaning.

I suppose.

Indeed, we used to own the title but it has been a long long time since it was captured by the Socialists. I find it very misleading for a writer in this day and age to use the term Liberal as relating to liberty or freedom in any way.

You seem to think I was bragging about my degree when I was simply trying to tell you that I'm educated in that area. I don't know if my degree is "of recent vintage" but these days I'm flattered when someone calls me "kid".

It seems to me that if you can ramble on about Ricardo and "crypto-governmental institutions" then you could probably come up with a more lucid argument to make your point. Simple answers convince, yours was obviously designed to obfuscate and insult. And that business about "gaming of national and international government monies" isn't fooling (or impressing) anyone.

If you know what you're talking about ...say so. Honesty is simple, only misleading people requires so many syllables. And try not to get too angry or you'll spill you foam.
