This is what I've been trying to warn my fellow freepers about concerning John Loftus' lack of critical thinking and judgment skills. Those deficits make John Loftus too unreliable a source to trust in matters of the wartime intel that he pretends to be an expert in.

I'm well aware of that, pookie, that's why I have been posting his stuff, so that other freepers can see just what a buffoon he is. Did you see how he characterized Free Republic, in the above article? (Look for the red highlights.)

John Loftus is a *hard-left* source of mis-information, speculation and out-right invention. Here are just a few of the whacky things John Loftus supports and promotes.

1. A congressional investigation into the Bush-Nazi family ties.
2. That Bush aided known terrorists in the Saudi Family to escape the U.S. in the days following 9-11.
3. That this war is all about oil.
4. That Jonathan Pollard is a victim and should be released from prison.

No one can be a more unreliable source of intelligence than a source so biased and confused, that he can't even come to grips with the most fundamental fact of this war and that is, we are at war because of terrorism, plain and simple.

John Loftus is so lacking in credibility that even the host of his primary promoter on radio (The John Batchelor Show) has publicly taken him to task for his lack of reliability.

I knew that you knew he was a Democrat...was posting for those that were unaware. In spite of that, I don't totally discount all of his information in general. I thank you for posting the transcripts as occasionally I don't stay up until he comes on the show.

Thanks for the additional info on Loftus. I had heard him for a short time on an L.A. talk show and he seemed to make some sense. Perhaps he was just having a bad day and was not himself.

Uhh, his dad's name, uhh, popped up on an enemies list from an ultra-right wing site listing all of the groups and organizations, that according to their sad little likes, are anti-American...

I miss the connection. How do we know that Loftus is referring to FR? What listing is he referring to?
