Of course aliens are real. They can be spotted by their inability to capitalize 'i' in reference to themselves, and in their use of apostrophes to denote plurals.

I saw it yesterday. It's one of the better films, IMO. Not some hi-8 video cam at extreme zoom jerking around like a firefly on speed, but really steady, and showing good references as to object proximity with the filming aircraft anf the terrain.

Let me see, Infra red pictures of balls that mirror each other. Poor quality shots and questionable
lighting. The only valid information we are working off of here is altitude and 5 March. Not very convincing we need better info, do you have any? Was there any ground station radar reports to confirm pilot location? Did you
join today just to ask about this?
Enquireing minds want to know.

That's your best ever.
I'm going to have to save that one.
Wheeeee.
I gather you are not interested in me sending you the 25 year NASA scientist Paul Hill's
UNCONVENTIONAL FLYING OBJECTS a scientific analysis
[published posthumously]
[Apollo 14 Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, Sc.D., said this:
"Paul Hill has sone a masterful job ferreting out the basic science and technology behind the elusive UFO characteristics....Perhaps this book will help bring solid consideration for making all that is known about extraterrestrial craft publicly available."
for your responses thereto?
I'm almost deciding to go ahead and wade through it and just skipping over the more obscure technical parts. But I'd still be happy to send it to you if you'd read it.

With all of the other more compelling evidence that is out there, I find it odd that this five minute video has suddenly turned you in to a "believer".

Oh, i figured that.
and probably the thread originator is a troll.
Still, if they are merely . . . disadvantaged in some way . . . doesn't hurt to be kind.

Actually any illegal Mexican alien in the U.S. on any airplane is a UFO...
To: Quix
I've read it; the problem is that he started out with some sightings that are known hoaxes. Garbage in, garbage out...
Jacques Vallee does a much better job of analysis, IMNHO. He doesn't leap to conclusions until there's a lot of factual support.
I am convinced that some of the UFOs out there are extremely classified aerospace programs...but they are an tiny minority of the total. I am also convinced that a lot of the more bizarre "aliens ate my Buick" stuff out there is encouraged, aided, and abetted by the same folks behind these aerospace programs.

Are you always this nitpicky? Usually, when one hears the term U.F.O. they imagine objects not of this world. It's just the way we're conditioned. Lighten up, dude.

OK, THANKS.
I don't know what the percentages would be.
And I do think there are authentic ET versions and critters.
Otherwise, I could readily agree with what you said.
I think the bulk of the stuff in the public domain is smoke and mirrors and disinformation.
But interspersed are bits and pieces of truths and half truths. Makes for interesting puzzle piece analysis.
Challenging for those of us less gifted than Poohbah. Ah well, we do what we can!

During the interview, we would listen to the tape for a minute or so, all would say what they remembered and saw, then another minute of tape & so on. We did see the target on primary radar, and that pilot's face turned white & he was shaking when the incident got hairy.

I don't think that it would matter much that Paul Hill would use some hoax cases as illustrations of what he wants to talk about in terms of the physics. Hoax cases can represent authentic cases if they mirror them well enough on key particulars.

I'm only nitpicky on this BECAUSE of this bias surrounding the term "UFO". It started as a military term to denote an object that was unidentified and flying, and was worthy of investigation as a potential threat. It's been co-opted to be something either instantly comical or instantly otherwordly. Both approaches are wrong, and to whomp Quandary about something he DIDN'T say is rude, that's all.
I am light most of the time, though I suppose this is a hot button.
Why UFO's and Conservatism are compatable is beyond me.
