Good post. The video showed how brave the Islamic-pigs are, all wearing masks. If they had any REAL balls, they'd run around WITHOUT a head rag and SHOW who they are. Real brave men, killed a bound prisoner.

Considering that the media and the 'education' system of America teaches nothing about Islamic culture or values and only shows them as terrorists, its no wonder you feel this way. You only have to step into the city your closest to, to realise what Muslims believe, instead you rely on your TV (FOX) to tell you what a Muslim thinks and behaves like. These terrorists adhere to intolerant Wahabi islam, and guess what- Our Government has troops in Saudi Arabia to protect the leaders of this sect of Islam from their own people who would overthrow them if American troops weren't being used as the wall that they are hiding behind.
The level of racsism here at the moment is probably around the same level as the soldiers at the Abu Graib prison.
If you saw this atrocity against a human being and were enraged, then why isn't there any 'rage' over the human being who has no arms or legs, or the human being who has to use his football field as a graveyard because his entire family and a lot of his friends have been killed? (These other two are also children)It must be because a life of an American is more important then the ten's of thousands of Iraqui's who have died in this insanity. I'm just wondering when Bush will decide how many Iraqui's equal 3000 Americans, as its already past more than 3 to 1.
You don't have to be the Dhali Llama to understand the concept of 'cause and effect'. If our culture is so much greater then other countries that we can forcibly try to make their government's like ours, we should start trying to prove it. And if every American thinks the way I've seen here, then I have a very bad feeling about the future of a country that can't apply any empathy whatsoever to any situation. Americans need to start asking 'why'? 'Why' did they do that? 'Why' did this happen? If you generalise all Iraqui's and Muslims as terrorists, then isn't it only fair that all Iraqui's and Muslims can consider white Americans as Rascist, Money Hungry Crusaders.
Didn't your Mom tell you how silly the pot was when he called the kettle black!

"If this generation does not come to terms with islam, the next generation will have to, and the problem will only be worse for our children."

That's a fact.

The Islamic fanatics are really not hardly different at all then the Japanese with their mass murder of innocent populations, never mind individuals POW's.

Yes, they need to be fought and crushed like the Japanese. The writer of this article gives too much credit to Muslim religion. Muslim religion is a satanic offshoot of the Judeo-Christian religion.

Welcome to FR, O defender of The Religion of Peace.

I have studied Islam extensively since 9/11 and, even before that, trained as an European historian, I have a thurough acquaintence with the history of Islam and its interactions with the West. I have to say that the more I have read the Koran, and the more I learn about Islam, the less favorably disposed I am towards Islam, and the less willing I am to tolerate it.

Berg's Father is a classic mentally ill lunatic lefty who hates a strong America and GW.

Like his clones who lost loved ones in 9/11 and blame GW not the Islamofascist murderers, he will become even more insane and blame GW even more.

This editorial pretty much sums it up for me.

Our prison abuse = way overblown

"We can submit or we can fight. That is the only choice the leave us with."

So very, very true. And America had better realize it, and damn fast!

I have been having similar thoughts lately, but precedent to the prison abuse photos and the Berg slaughter. No, I've been having atypical thoughts of violence against people like Ted Kennedy. I don't know how someone like him lives with himself. He can't possibly believe his own BS, can he?

The Congressional hearings into the Abu Ghraib prison abuses have been revealing, not for expected reasons. The prisoners held in the cellblock were not unlike those who took Nick Berg's life.

Some senators called the prison a symbol of Saddam's brutality that should be razed. Some think that putting masks or panties on their heads dehumanizes them, robs them of their dignity and may harm their self-esteem. Some think that we should not humiliate the most violent terrorists even if it is the most effective means to extract intelligence that would lead to the capture of Berg's murderers or to uncover weapons caches or, more generally, to save the lives of US personnel and innocent Iraqis who are trying to rebuild their country. Maybe some senators don't believe we need to learn the habits of these terrorists, who they speak with, where they go, and who supports them.

Note who these senators are who completely misunderstand the nature of this War on Terror in which we are engaged, who continue to fight the Vietnam War, and who take every opportunity to grandstand when it is clearly not in our nation's interest. Note also how the establishment networks pointed out that the perpetrators of the grisly Berg beheading didn't utter any religious epithets that civil libertarians say would reveal a hate-crime mindset. Maybe the networks will push their favorite liberal senators into passing legislation to outlaw assault knives that could be used in the commission of a beheading or to make some other useless gesture so they don't have to confront the realities of war.

These senators, who include Levin, Dayton and, for bipartisan balance, McCain, should never again be elected to a position where they would be accorded public trust to do what's right for America.

The fact that any of you want to even entertain the idea of watching and listening to the murder of this poor guy is disturbing in itself. There's something you are getting out of it by watching it, which is really sick.

Reality is like a cold bucket of water. What they are "getting out of it" is a hard, real look at what real attrocity is and who we are fighting. The fact you may not understand that is "sick".

People still have a problem with history. In 1953, the then-leader of the communists came to our soil and touted that his country would "bury us" and take our country without firing a shot. They started with Hollywood, and Nikita knew that they already had infiltrated our society. Their next step was taking over the universities which trained our "journalists". Before my time, they took over the media and the Democrap party. The only way to win a war is to eliminate the commies here first. Then employ the tactics you mention.

NUTS. I'm sick and tired of people excusing evil by blaming it on the victim. Yesterday, I heard someone on TV say that the beheading would not have happened if we understood the sensitivities of the Arab people.

I think it is time they are made to understand we are sensitive to having our citizens killed by religious nuts.

Only now listening to Rush babbling away about the video, and I do mean babbling....have I begun to calm down.

I would have liked to have a choice as to whether I want to listen.

A mom called Gambling shaken to the core and furious that her 12 year old in the car with her had to hear that awful awful awful sound. She, too, would have liked a warning.

There is a reason why THE RAPE OF NANKING is banned in Japan.

They and the nazis seem to be the prototypes for today's uncivilized subhumans.

The saddest thing about Berg's dad's thinking is that he was perfectly okay with the people of Iraq suffering similar fates by the hundreds of thousands.

In whose name does he choose to look away from such inhumanity.

About two hours ago I called Kennedy's office demanding he apologyze to our country, our military, and our President.

I hear Rush is now calling for Kennedy to apologyze.

Kennedy's office put me on hold several times....which I enjoyed immensely since the call was being paid for by the NEA!
