Well, I'm here because somebody pinged me. The regular networks have never aired the Richard Perle video [although I recall some European network may have]. As it is, I have not been able to find the terrorist website [Muntada al-Ansar] wherein the unedited video is reportedly posted.

I think that CBS may be correct when they say that the FCC will not allow a beheading to be aired.

As it is, I found out about this story because the Fox News Channel is always the first thing that I turn on, wherein there was saturation coverage of the Nick Berg beheading. They did give an explicit verbal description, however. Gruesome enough.

At this moment I have CNN on to compare.

After a long period of coverage of Gen. Taguba's testimony about our people horribly putting ladies panties on a terrorists face, then a passing mention was made of the Berg murder. That was all that CNN had time for on the story.

Right now they're talking about how Americans are frightened about jobs being exported.

It's all a matter of perspective/priority, isn't it?

This sounds tough but it is time to stop playing around. You cant reason with terrorist and they will explode a nuke or dirty bomb here as soon as they can.

I just called and the poor woman at the phones is beside herself. She is there alone and the phones are going to beat the band!!!!!! She put me on hold three times in less than a minute to try and answer other calls. I told her I am APPAULED at CBS and that I will NEVER watch their station again. Just called the number and asked when the story will be run and when the full-length video would be shown on their network. The woman with whom I spoke said they would be providing continual coverage and would play the "non-violent" portion of the video.

I advised them they should play it in its entirety after 11:00 p.m. and continued the casual conversation because I could literally hear the telephones ringing "off the wall" in the background.

I called CBS News this afternoon and asked if their ratings for showing the abused photos had been worth an American beheaded and the gal hung up on me. I was very soft spoken and nice by the way. I have Emailed my friends to call and write to CBS. Our voices must be heard.
