More of this would put butts in the pews all over America!

The phrase "Hell is a reality and you are free to choose it" should become the anthem of the pro-life crowd. I know I will personally use it.

Kerry and other pro-abortion politicians cannot have it both ways. Choosing to be Catholic is nothing more than choosing to accept and live by the teachings of the Church. There is no right to be a Catholic and no rights to revise Church Doctrine or the Laws of God to comply with political agendas. Kerry's stance on abortion is clear evidence that he has chosen NOT to be a Catholic.

"Hell is a reality and you are free to choose it"

Powerful words which we don't hear often enough. Many people think living on earth is their hell, they are very wrong.

Again, the politicians have to decide what's more important, the votes of some of their constituents or their immortal souls.>>

Money, power, vanity, ego, votes, etc.

Bishop Samuel J. Aquila is speaking the truth. It's too bad we don't hear the word "hell" anymore, too many Catholics are becoming complacent and think that hell is here on earth and that all go to heaven when we die. I seldomly hear any priest say we will go to hell if we lead a sinful life.

What a perfectly marvelous sermon. He should go the the black Baptist churches across America, and preach the same sermon to them. It is obvious the black preachers are not doing their job.

Glad I posted the whole link, looks like it's no longer linked to the diocesan website.

Came to this older thread tonight via your link on another thread, and went looking for the original pdf. Found it, for some reason they changed the date in the link from 4-24 to 4-25. This one works (but I’m still glad you posted the full text here!):
