I hope she puts the child up for adoption. With the child's mother and father in prison long-term, it would be for the best.

How long before a scumbag ACLU-type steps up to represent her and begins to lay the groundwork that it's Bush's fault for his 'illegal, immoral' war?

She won't have any choice if she is convicted.

The following is not directed at L. England, but it is pertinent if we are to get a deeper grasp of the problem in our military.
The sexual degeneracy of the abuses is clear. There are even more disturbing revelations about to come out, like rape and murder. But one needs to ask, "to what extent has the wink and nod 'don't ask, don't tell' cover given homosexuals infesting the military figure into the breakdown in command and discipline?" I would assert that the vast majority of our professional military is honorable and courageous, but as with another 'army' --that of the priesthood-- the degenerates of the pc protected, sexually self-defined, demanding homosexual cloister sought to infiltrate and carve out safe haven for their degeneracy. Sadly, the democrat party's leftist wing has aided and abetted this degeneration of our society and every institution within it. It is anathema in the priesthood and in our Professional Military.
When society bends over backwards to not offend and in fact embrace the 'alternate lifestyles' of degeneracy, standards fall precipitously and we have a breakdown of both discipline and morality. Duke Cunningham's admonition to his crews hints that holding higher standards is vital, yet the homosexual cloisterqueens want none of that, as they place their stamp of degeneracy upon everything they touch, in their effort to feel normal, to be accepted as they are, degenerates. As homosexual degeneracy becomes tacitly accepted, other sexual degeneracy is also tolerated. This problem in the U.S. Military is deeper than we common folks would like to see, but fortunately it is also sparse and can be cured.

Don't be too quick to convict England, without also looking deeper at the forces that dealt to her commands she followed out of discipline but perhaps later because of lost compass.

Her family has already been bitching about Bush, using the tired Kerry line about how he shouldn't "judge" because he wasn't in combat..blah blah blah...
And they're already blaming it on her superiors: KIN BACK LEASHER CREATURE. I *love* the NY Post's headlines!

My my, the death penalty? Puleez, she's culpable, but so are the ones issuing to her the commands. But the death penalty? ... Take a sip of something cool and rest for a while.

Did I just hear on O'reilly or somewhere that she wasn't assigned there and just came over to visit her boyfriend?
I don't know if I have that right.

From the Geneva Convention relative to Treatment of Prisoners (Entry into force: 21 Oct 1950):
Article 13
Prisoners of war must at all times be humanely treated. Any unlawful act or omission by the Detaining Power causing death or seriously endangering the health of a prisoner of war in its custody is prohibited, and will be regarded as a serious breach of the present Convention. In particular, no prisoner of war may be subjected to physical mutilation or to medical or scientific experiments of any kind which are not justified by the medical, dental or hospital treatment of the prisoner concerned and carried out in his interest.
Likewise, prisoners of war must at all times be protected, particularly against acts of violence or intimidation and against insults and public curiosity.
Measures of reprisal against prisoners of war are prohibited.
