I want Rummy to know the ONLY reason the democrats hate him so much is because he is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT at what he does and they can't stand it, the bunch of unpatriotic a**holes! I was just slumming over at DU. Apparently Rumsfeld did so well that even a lot of them admit it. One thread was titled "Rumsfeld Kicks Ass and Takes Names". Many agreed, and those that didn't sounded like they were trying to convince themselves he didn't do well. God, I love it!!!!

If that happens, Kerry becomes a shoo-in. People admire Bush for his leadership. If he allows the hyenas influence outweigh what he knows is best for the country, he just lost that edge. Then people lose their faith in Bush and will regard him as no better than Kerry.

And God help us all with Kerry in the White House.

I just hope Bush will stop and think and not allow the loud chorus of America haters to make him do something, that he and all of us will regret the rest of our lives, which may well be much shorter under Kerry, than would be under Bush.

I think this whole apology is sickening enough. Bush and Rumsfeld should have come out swinging -- too bad, get over it, let's move on, we are in a middle of a war for our very survival.

Today while being grilled Rumsfeld was asked if his resignation was the only way to stem the damage to this country this scandal was causing, would he resign.Rumsfeld answered yes.

Rumsfeld is more of a patriot than those Senators grilling him could ever dream of being.Here is a man who would put the good of his country ahead of his personal gain.

This is the type of people we need more of,not those who are out to win no matter what the cost to this country.

Mr Rumsfeld,I thank you for all you have done,and all you have to put up with.
