She's an actress and a businesswoman. She produces many of her films and treats people who work for her pretty well. She's still young, and may not go over to the dark Side.

Someone is snecking the better pictures -- like the one you put up.

How do I know it was a good picture? Because it got snecked.

She just doesn't have the support to do so. Too bad.

Well, it's her family. She's the scion and heiress to an impressive line of great actors and actresses......Ethel.....Lionel....."just 'damn'", like the guy said. The girl is carrying a tradition, just as if her name were Adams or Roosevelt or Bush.

But like our friends, I hope nobody gets his hopes up that Freepers are going to be complimented or something. You want a friend, get a dog, like Harry said.

Notice how conservatively Drew's dressed and made up for DC, compared to her pic from the Alabama part of the tour.....even her soundman and camerawoman are dressed like they're going to spend the day sitting in the Senate gallery or the Supreme Court.

Of course, I was watching the night she flashed Letterman. Talk about cognitive dissonance!

Wasn't it Courtney Love who flashed Letterman? Are you saying that Drew Barrymore did as well or do you have the two mixed up?

Regardless, Drew was dressed more conservatively than many of the young, attractive female reporters.

I thought you might be interested in these links about Barrymore. I at first doubted the idea that she was doing a documentary.. (because of her stay out of the bushes t-shirt on MTV)

Actress Drew Barrymore has toured Selma, the birthplace of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as part of a documentary she's filming on the importance of voting.

Google news search
Hope the last link works..was having some trouble with it.

Both. I saw part of the show with Courtney Love, she was loaded and disgusting and I was trying to figure out who she was; I saw what she was about to do -- Letterman saw her coming, too -- and I quickly changed channels. I so hate to see a woman put herself on display as a complete pig like that.

But Drew did it a couple of years ago -- just really quickly jumped up and started dancing really fast, then vaulted up on Letterman's desk (back to the camera) and flashed him.

Yes, I remember the night Drew flashed Dave...it was his birthday. The look on his face afterwards was priceless.

Courtney Love is one of those women who looks really really hot from across a supermarket, and when you push your cart in her direction to get a better look, you find yourself saying, "Ewwww..."

I have a long memory...and I knew I was never gonna see a Charlies Angels film when Barrymore, Diaz, and Liu wore anti-Bush shirts for the press conference plugging the first Charlie's Angels movie...

so, I think Drew is nowhere near you guys...

She's also a gun grabber. She produced Charlie's Angels, and one of her requirements was that the heroines would not use guns. Also, unverified, but some sites say it was at her encouragement that Spielberg removed the guns from the special edition of E.T. First I've heard of that one, but some site called drewbarrymore.org is proud that she's on a NRA list of gun control celebs.

"I see that you are a very violent group"

Surely she was smiling when she said that?

Drew Barrymore's political "views" are going to give childhood booze and drug immersion, among other things, a very bad name.

She seemed reasonably intelligent and even handed. I'm guessing the 'violent' reference at the end was in jest.
