You believe that Iraq would not have been on Bush's axis of evil list if not for Chalabi ? Boy talk about blind faith.
To: Perlstein
You hate Bush for being taken in by a charlatan.
HATE THE INTELLIGENCE given to Bush.
Bet it came from career democrats employed by
State Dept. and CIA.

Those "Bush is the devil" types are actually the reasonable types, you know. He certainly made sure he had his p's and q's on the Book of Revelation, didn't he?
To: Perlstein
I hate Bush for being taken in by a charlatanAnd yet you profess admiration for Jimmy Carter and Martin Luther King?

I hate Bush for being taken in by a charlatan, BTW, that's only happened in the last few weeks.
Somehow, I have a feeling you've been on that "Bush hating perch" for a lot longer than that.

So you're using words that (supposedly) travel from GWB to others, instead of using his own words in his book, while you are citing his book as your source.
In another paragraph you mention "commentators" linking President Bush to Ahmanson. Any names? One would have to be seriously paranoid to suspect GWB of any link to Ahmanson.

You HATE President Bush because of Chalabi??
Is that a joke?
You liked him before??
You seem to be a bit irrational here, Perlstein.
If honest men can't be tripped up, then you have failed the test.
President Bush, on the other hand........hasn't.

The person the administration relied on greatly to think about the situation in Iraq was a man named Chalabi. Chalabi has now revealed that he feels more allegiance to Iran than he does to the United States. Apparently he wasn't trusted to much .. other wise intell wouldn't have picked up Chalabi chattering ..
Oh and BTW .. OXENinFLA .. wasn't it Congress that insisted he be paid

Somehow, I have a feeling you've been on that "Bush hating perch" for a lot longer than that. In his mind its a twofer. Proof there is no God and proof that Bush is a fool.
If God truly led Bush he would not be fooled by a charlatan therefore there is no God and Bush is a fool.
I'm quite certain he has no clue that both the logic and the theology are hopelessly flawed.
To: redlipstick
Exactly!
Just like he states Abbas' quote from Bush as if it were etched in stone!

Fair questions, I suppose:
>Why do you hate POTUS?
See my 153
>Is it his politics or more personal?
Entirely his politics. I don't know him personally.
>IOWs, are you a donkey democrat?
I voted for Nader in 2000.
>A spoiled leftie preppie?
Pretty spoiled when I was growing up, and in college. I always had a car. Then my parents cut me off, and I work very hard for a very meager living. Not a preppie. My parents were Republicans (they've turned away at disgust at Bush), and I came to leftism pretty much on my own when I was an adolescent.
>A red diaper baby?
Just brown. My Dad always said I'd turn right when I had to meet a payroll. Then he retired--didn't have to make a payroll anymore--and is becoming more left.
