I'm talking about full disclosure.
The image didn't come from an e-mail, the LINK did. This may seem to be a small point, but it has significance. For instance, when Headache posted this, there was clearly an FR box to insert the source, which in this case is the weblink. Instead he stated the source as "mail" and himself as the author.
Also, a website that ends in ".net" is unusual, then to have to go 4 layers deep into the bowels of image storage is not your average lighthearted, casual image source.
These obvious and FR-required disclosures would have let all of us in on the joke. The site didn't get credit for producing the image until many of us started to dig.

"Got this from a friend of mine whose brother is over there" and the source was (his) mail.
I immediately figured he got the link in email. If he was sent a picture, then how did he know the link source?
And he took credit? Umm...I thought he said a friend sent it to him. So Headache took the photo, sent it to his friend who sent it back?
IMO some people were looking for a reason to jump on him. I don't get how he could be accused of taking credit, when he never did. He put his name in the author block because he posted it from his email. C'mon guys, get with it!

"Mail" was not the ultimate source. I'm still talking full disclosure.

So, on threads where people post things they recieve in email, they need to locate the precise source before they post? I think I will browse FR and ping you to a few threads... :o)
To: RedBloodedAmerican
LOL, if that's the case then he needs some better PR.

Actually, since the website where this pic can be altered actually stole it from another website and the text has been removed, then the images posted here really don't have an original source, do they? Most films have negatives. Do you think that a negative exists with the text about "Nomar"?
Ummm...you wouldn't happen to be a Red Sox fan, would you?
