Matthew 18:21-22 --
Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

Interesting post. There sure are a lot of weird people out there. I, for one, fell for part of bogdan's act (if that part was an act).

Gee whiz, H, this is the troll of all trolls! I'll sit back and watch you licensed hunters go after it :-) Cheers!
You know what really blows? I rarely post to a prayer thread. I almost always offer up a silent prayer, but don't post. I did make a brief, encouraging post to Brog's friend's plea for prayers. I think I'll go back to keeping my comments to myself, say a small prayer, and let God decided what to do with it :-)

I was totally taken in. I even got mad at someone who doubted the story. So how embarassed am I? LOL

You know, I am not even slightly surprised by this at all. I think we have all seen people evade bans, both here and on other sites (and IRC). Certainly the best you can do is play whack-a-troll and ban him everytime he shows up.
Surely we have better things to do, like crushing certain A-holes...

Thanks!
It's amazing what you miss on FR when you're out of commission for a few days.
That having been said, I honestly think some of these vulgar, obsessed trolls need psychological help.

I miss FR most weekends, because I am doing the honey-do lists. There are some of the DU trolls that are so out of touch, but thne you must realize they listen only to ABSCBSNBCCNNBSCSNBS et al.

I know the feeling re: the honey-do lists.
Usually I never Freep on weekends as a result.
My lack of weekend time was made worse by a messed-up DSL line here @ the office.
I know what you mean about "ABSCBSNBCCNNBSCSNBS et al"... my parents are both Dems and that's all we ever bought into.
I was a Dem too, until one fine day in my early 20's, I discovered Rush Limbaugh on my TV.
The rest is history.

I am not a mod is any and or all of the moderators. It is an account which we all have access to, to post things where we do not want to get the moderator account "my comments" buried with replies.

My mom is still a diehard Dem. She was a teacher for many years & now works as an administrator.
My dad voted for Bush last time, but is still a registered Dem.
In order to keep the peace, I don't discuss politics much with them very often.
They know where I stand, though.

I'm gonna be a happy idiot
And struggle for the legal tender
Where the ads take aim and lay their claim
To the heart and the soul of the spender
And believe in whatever may lie
In those things that money can buy
where true love could have been a contender
Are you there?
Say a prayer for the Pretender.
Who started out so young and strong
Only to surrender.
Say a prayer for the pretender
Are you there for the pretender?
Say a prayer for the pretender
Are you there for the pretender?
Are you prepared for the pretender?

Deep was posting from an "undiclosed location" in eastern europe almost nightly. He and CAL were frequently engaged in replying to each other.
A poster named bigsigh thought that the posts were a little self-serving and martyrlike so he pointed out his opinion. He and deep got involved in an argument and deep challenged bigsigh to list his medals. bigsigh said he wasn't going to discuss his military experience, especially with some guy on the internet.
deep listed his medals and claimed the military high ground. Another poster saw the medals listed and realized that it had to be phonied up.
Deep was shamed and retreated.
I remember because I was bigsigh. Would like to be again, but JR will not allow me to use my original name. That's another story.
