Flowers to a funeral home, a legit one that can be checked out would have been just fine. We've got enough Freepers around the country who could drive by to make sure.
Just MHO

I'm suspiciuos of every thing. I'm not saying that this guy was legit or not .I mean he was the first person I ever saw who wrote with an accent. He wrote just like a stereotypical eastern Europeon would.I wanted to say something but I knew I'd get flamed. I was waiting for the line used in "get smart"- How you say?....

Actually I didn't read very much of his postings. I think maybe a bit of the fever thread and maybe one other. I wasn't interested so I never followed him. He seemed to have developed a group with which he did correspond.
I remember DITHF and as legit as that guy sounded it took a very knowledgeable military person to catch a fake medal/ribbon he claimed to have received. The person that caught it was banned that night but was later reinstated when he was proved correct and DITHF admitted his plot... So you never know, they can sound legit or maybe suspect but it always plays to be skeptical, imo.

*snort* It has been, hasn't it?
And, tomorrow is May Day:
1) a traditional spring festival, often celebrated by dancing around a Maypole, crowning a May queen.
2) "International Labor Holiday" observed in many countries by parades, demonstrations, etc.
3) my aunt's birthday.
Well, two out of three ain't bad!

Google has "bots" that do their work. A site does not need to be submitted. When my site was getting several thousand hits per day a search of "Eaker" put me at number 1, then listed my relative a 4 star General Ira C. Eaker. My site gets less hits now so he has been bumped back to the top.
No worries.

I cried as I posted on the prayer thread for his wife last night.I have been thinking about this.Someone set us up and posted mock threads to the extreme of what we post so they could mock us.What gets me is at the height of Fallujah
he had an eye witness account from Iraq and we with loved ones there or returning and all those who cared for our troops were reading every word.He joined the canteen so he or she hit us on every front, breaking news, prayer thread ,canteen and wherever else they posted.Somewhere in a lonely room they have no-one to share this laugh with because it is to despicable to tell someone and have them respect you again .I know you are lurking ,you are no good.

I've been under a great deal of stress lately. When I read that BogdanPolska12's wife had been killed by a drunk driver, the tears flowed. I've been had, but I'm okay with it. I needed a good cry to relieve some of the stress. I don't understand why anyone would pull a prank like that, and I hope nobody was hurt by it. I was fooled, but I don't feel like a fool. The fool is the person who doesn't reach out to comfort others who may be in pain, simply because they may not be. Compassion is never wasted.

1st I am sorry for alerting FReepers to this scam. Don't be sorry for alerting me. You did the right thing in pinging me for a prayer request. I cried. I prayed. I'm not sorry. Now, if I'd sent money, that would be different. : )

After [Report Abuse] there needs to be [Possible troll]. It's hard to fool all the people all the time. If enough people push the troll link, an administrator would be alerted.
So, "Happy", you stated in FR mail to me you spoke to "bogdan" in person. So, Troll, are you in on this scam also? What was your previous screen name?
