You guys think this is bad, check out this one entitled
"Theresa Heinz-Kerry, Destroyer of the Environment" . In it there's a link to a Jan. 2004 interview Kerry gave bragging about giving up his SUV. There's also stuff about how wifey tried to divert scarce water at the Idaho mansion so her lawn would look good.

I liked Jay when he was at WOR before Grant was sent into exile after getting hosed by WABC in 1996. I really like his style and his work when he wrote columns for MSNBC.
This Kerry thing is typical. My distinct memory of him from childhood was the infamous Doonsbury comic. It strikes me these days that I remember years later that strip.
But, what is important is this. Kerry is as devoid of character than Clinton. Unlike Clinton, the establishment knows this. I find it telling they've thrown him up so close to the seat of absolute power.

Kerry is getting a bum rap on this, and on not checking the higher Massuchussets box on his tax return. It makes me wince. It involves the free rider thingie. Just like I would not mind not paying a bit more tax, but have no intention of doing so voluntarily, unless the Kerry's of this nation do too, each and every one of them.
