Lots and lots of cruise missles should be sent to Syria. On the heels of that aircraft carriers should start showing up in the gulf near Syria.
Which gulf?

I said they
need to be, not they
will be.
Although if they continue to beg for it long enough we very well may oblige.

The Syrian regime is beyond doubt giving at least tacit aid to terrorists by not actively shutting them down.

the stupidity of certain politicans wanting to bring back the draft. Those politicans don't really want to bring back the draft.
What they really want is to use the lie about a need for a draft as proof of President Bush being a failure.
It's purely anti-Bush BS.
All that's needed to increase our military is for Congress to
provide funding to pay for the additional slots and equipment.

Iran definitely seems to be Syria's "big brother".
I agree....if Iran falls, Syria has no place to go but down.

Yep, I know we're on the same page here.
If we don't lose the political correctness and stop obsessing about "winning hearts and minds" then we will lose this war.

No kidding! We will sit on our hands like we are doing right now. Just because the insurgents are killing American and Iraqi civilians, why should we care?
I am noticing that with each week we try the diplomacy route, more incidents like what has occurred in the past 24 hours are on the increase. We are quickly losing control of the ME, if we ever were in control in the first place.

The administration will not take any major military action until after the election.

don't over-react. There are about 6000 people in Sadr's militia. Fallujah has perhaps 2000 insurgents.
Los Angeles has 50-80 thousand gang members. Read that last sentence to yourself a few times.

If we don't lose the political correctness and stop obsessing about "winning hearts and minds" then we will lose this war. Amen. Drop the gloves. Teach them fear and respect, forget their hearts and minds - that will follow.
