The Amanpour/Rubin wedding was in Rome. Madame Albright just happened to convene a meeting in Rome at the time and flew most of the State Department over to Rome to attend the wedding.

Needless to say, the media barely mentioned this fact.

What a deal. Geez, can you imagine if Colin Powell did that for his assistant? What year was this? Seems to me it was late in the Clinton Admin? I just can't imagine an Asst SOS of the United States marrying a leftist newscaster. Ugh.

Think beyond the spin and realize that the books is VERY favorable to the President. Other than the few corrections on some salient points, there is no attack at all on the president or his men.
