news reports today say that the Bush/Cheney campaign has spent $55 million on misleading TV ads in just the past month.

Hmmm. $55M for "misleading" ads, but they don't say how much for accurate ads...
Or are they trying to say that every ad is misleading?

Here is the starting point - look at the numbers below, and how they were achieved.

200,000 - individual online contributions during March 2004.

At an average of 109 dollars per contribution, that equals 21,800,000. That still leaves over 20,000,000 dollars to be collected - but where does it come from?

Will the names of individual contributors be made public? And when?

Bullcrap.

All Kerry has to do is fly to Hollywood and put out his hand, and money (and who knows what else) will come flying.

When that slows, (if it ever does,) he just calls up the union bosses, and after that the filthy rich trial lawyers, and after that the Chinese, and after that corporations. (Contrary to popular belief, corporations give more to the Dems than the GOP)

Bush's campaign warchest comes mostly from small individuals who donate $20 at a clip, like myself.

The DNC had 20,000,000. I wonder if they are counting that.

Precisely. If we were able to check out the names of the online donors, would we find that Heinz employees are "giving generously" to Kerry this year?

Soros money, I am sure. Hand out $$ to students and have them send money to Kerry keeping a bit for themselves. Phony credit card accounts, paid for by Soros.

Well, I will have to dig deep this spring and summer to donate to Bush, and I think everyone should do the same.

Everyone that signs up will get two bumper stickers.

I suppose one could cut them in two and use the first half to decorate outdoor convenience stations.
