Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

"The notion of sacrificing economic empowerment for the sake of assuaging the feelings of a handful of environmentalists is offensive," Conservative common sense mixed in with the liberal finding of "offense" in everything.
Well, at least it's a start.

Excellent article. It's the same problem with the Left's "Global Minimum Wage" idea. The only thing that could possibly do is to drive third-world economies into the ground.

Nice and necessary bump.
I've seen people make tough choices. Tires of EGR valve? Wheel bearings or oxygen sensor.
The wine and cheese elitists don't have to make these decisions. "Why don't they take the S70 to the dealer?!"
I have memories of a woman with a kid getting in a nasty accident because the car didn't the brakes that were up to spec. The car did have a nice new EGR valve. So what if the kid can't walk now! The important thing is that the old car's Nox levels are low.
Excellent article titled Death by Environmentalism here.

The theory of global warming is just as unproven as the theory of evolution. But we find that the majority of scientists believe in both of those theories.

Who are these people? They sound somewhat conservative."Somewhat?" We're a bit more than somewhat in terms of our conservatism.

"The notion of sacrificing economic empowerment for the sake of assuaging the feelings of a handful of environmentalists is offensive," said Project 21 member Michael King. "These activists seem to think their notions of solving pseudo-scientific concepts like 'global warming' will save humanity, but at what cost? These increased costs create a new underclass unable to afford to buy homes, vehicles and household goods."Outstanding!

Good deal. I've added it to my favs for future ref.
Since I'm a 'white boy' it'll add to my 'street cred' for discussions with some of my young black friends who are still on the liberal 'plantation'.
FWIW, I've turned on a few people to the words of the Rev. Jessee Lee Peterson and Dr. Alan Keyes. Good stuff.
