How many wounds that qualify for a Purple Heart leave no scar?
Does Kerry have a scar?

Former Sen. Max Cleland, a Kerry supporter who lost three limbs in Vietnam, was never awarded a Purple Heart.Maybe Cleland should be awarded a purple fart. Cleland was stupid enough to pick up a grenade with a pulled pin. This guy Cleland is like Kerry, a complete phony. Anyone can be sympathetic to someone who suffered the loss of limbs but lets be truthful about the cause.

Please, Kerry is a true blue dyed in the wool phony. How can anyone doubt it?

I liked
We Were Soldiers, but saw it more as a John Wayne-style movie. The business with the taxi-cabs back at the fort was ludicrous.
If you get a chance, check out an obscure film called 84 Charlie MoPic. I think it's one of the more realistic combat films.
Also, Casualties Of War with Michael J Fox and Sean Penn is an interesting look at some aspects of the human psyche too often all too prevalent in situations where some think the constraints are off.
Best to You and Yours.

Also, "Casualties of War" with Michael J. Fox and Sean Penn.... Thanks for the recommendation, I'll rent the DVD. Even if it does include that Saddam butt-kisser Sean Penn.
The only other Vietnam movies that I've seen are Apocalypse Now, The Deer Hunter, Hanoi Hilton and Hamburger Hill.
