These are only some of the reasons why I not only hope that Europe's 10 existing monarchies will last forever, but that at least some of the continent's republics will come to their senses and bring back their kings.

You sound like English Bob from Unforgiven.

I could live under a monarchy, so long as my Bill of Rights is respected. Anything less and I will stick with what we have here.

I have changed my political affiliation to Monarchist, but for the life of me I can't decide who should be America's king.

I'll take the job. It's really crappy but someone has to eventually push the button on the ME. I'll do it, renounce the throne and let the next guy in on it.

Of course, ya have to take a billion dollar retirement package :))

In Texas we remember a certain Spaniard named Galvez who was a big help during the Revolution, and the French Bourbons even more so. The war would not have been won without them pure & simple. In the battle of Yorktown alone Americans were a minority. They broke the bank helping us out and then lost their heads as a result of the financial woes of the kingdom.

They sent troops, they sent ships, they sent money, how much more *direct* can help be?

**DISCLAIMER** the above post refers to the KINGDOM of France under His Most Christian Majesty King Louis XVI and readers should not construe it as meaning I have any respect or regard for the criminal Jacques Chirac or the rotten republican regime over which he presides. merci

Who pulled out of Iraq and left the rest of us with a reinvigorated enemy to battle?

The socialist-communists who slid into office right after the Madrid bombings.

I believe that the terrorists were in league with the new Spanish government and the entire thing was orchestrated to be pulled off just three short days prior to the election. Furthermore, I believe that the DemocRAT Party, populated by the same brand of socialist-communist anti-Americans, are probably plotting a shock for American voters who are, after all, no better than the majority who elected the new government in Spain.

Since Spain has a constitutional government where the monarchy is pretty much limited to that of the UK, the Spanish Royal Family have no say in elections.

What kind of royalty flies on an airline anyway.

If he was a "real" prince he'd have a private jet.

If Spain is outraged that their royalty is searched, maybe they should provide proper accomodations for their "poser" royals.
