You know, it occurs to me that quite a few people are going to see their monikers on this thread and have their weekend made for them.

I still select threads according to topic--reading most threads most of the time--at least for a page or more.

But if I'm scrolling through a long thread, certainly I pay attention to some favorites--such as those listed by many.

1)Free Republic's absolute best screen name.
2)Her world class FReep of HRC at the book signing.

Oh, GREAT ones! Those guys, and a few others, basically start up the FR machine every morning. It must take them collective hours to post as many threads as they do.

redlipstick, you are not just my best freeper friend, but best friend, period. Wouldn't have met without FR. And what was funny was when we met in real life I and my family had flown many thousands of miles and we met up later at night and had to pry our husbands apart as they hit it off, too!

So many good posters keeping on top of stories, that as Howlin often points out, by the time the news channels are discussing it, it seems like "old news" to us!

Thanks. My favorite freeper is gwb and gop man because we met helping Terri in the fall. He gave me a scanner for my birthday and I gave him a karaoke machine for his birthday.

I guess Terri should be an honorary Freeper for bringing us all together.

I tried, but I just couldn't do it; it's too hard to narrow it down; I even looked at the Live Thread ping list and realized that I *look* at almost all of their posts when I see them!
