....Richard Holbrooke was introduced to a crowd of New York Democrats as "the next Secretary of State" .....

Not so fast, Dickie.

It's not so much the candidate Kerry himself, it's the scum he'd bring into the halls of power. Of course Soros, Clinton and a plethora of vermin would be soiling the White House rugs once again.

(In a Kerry administration) "I could see Eliot Spitzer being Attorney General," said Mr. Meeks, the Queens Congressman. Another Democrat noted that if Mr. Spitzer were summoned to Washington, it would help clear up some potential problems for Democrats in 2006. Mr. Spitzer has set his sights on running for Governor that year, but lately U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, another Democrat, has been rumored to be eyeing a move to Albany. The potential for a brutal primary would vanish if Mr. Spitzer went to Washington. "Schumer would push hard for him," the Democrat said.

Dream on, fellas.

Richard Ben-Veniste sure looked and sounded like he was auditioning for the position of a "soviet" style Attorney General.

Did you see yesterday's funny about RBV?

When RBV is in front of a TV camera his Gravitas Index spikes to unearthly proportion; viewers feel compelled to throw a shroud over him.

"Democrats are nearly unanimous in dreaming of Mr. Rubin’s return to Washington. They float his name as a replacement for Federal Reserve Bank chairman Alan Greenspan. "If we get him back, he could save this country," said John Catsimatidis, a Democrat..."

Save US from what? Prosperity?!

Any Kerry administration would
be a nighmare from hell.
Let him pick his imaginary cabinet.
It'll scare the begeezus out of the squishy middle.

Re post #11 . RBV has more of a 'mob lawyer' look about him.

Consigliere BenVeniste has a ring to it, no?

Re article: Spitzer has been working on his run for Governor and has a following. But, Andrew Cuomo also wants to be governor . . . so who knows.

But - the whole article is a waste of paper and ink. GWB will be elected.
