our local paper reported it something like this: "physician says ban would cover twenty-one different procedures" and I'm thinking, there are not twenty-one different procedures. Unless he meant, first you pull the right leg off, or the procedure where first you pull the left leg off...

But our paper has reported nothing that might influence people against abortion.

Here's how this rhetoric goes. Let's not call it partial birth abortion... we'll call it dilation and extraction... uh oh they're catching on to the extraction part... quick everybody call it the D&X procedure... extraction begins with an "E" not an "X" so it will take em a while to figure out that D&X and dilation and extraction are the same thing...

Then the Right comes along and says "Hey Morons it's called PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION!"

I did such a thing. Tuesday, my son came to talk to me about some things he's been getting into trouble with a LOT lately. He asked me if I remembered when he lied to me last weekend and when he hit his siter. I told him yes. He asked me if God could ever forgive him for all the things he's done. I told him about redemption and that God could forgive him anything if he honestly felt regret, prayed for forgiveness, tried to make things right and worked hard to be a better person. He's been a very happy kid these last two days.

We're all children. Learning, stumbling and breaking things as we stumble through life. Most of us get better with practice. But, it's a lot easier to forgive yourself when you're the only one who gets hurt in the process. Bless you for your honesty. It takes a very good soul to admit they're on the wrong path and to turn the horse around when they see they're going in the wrong direction.
