We have a secular humanist society and freedom of speech. Occasional immorality is the price. It's definitely a mixed bag. Parents have to raise kids with proper values, and that takes a lot of work. The nanny state won't do it for you. Muslims may have a problem with that.

I was going to post a reply along those lines last night, but my cat stomped on the keyboard and after I got back to where I thought I was, I forgot what I'd been doing. It really makes me mad when men call women 'whores' and worse, and never assign the same blame to men who are the other half of the sex act. Personally, I boycott all Arab owned businesses. I DON'T TRUST THEM. If someone organized a nation-wide boycott of all Arab owned businesses, they'd have to go to Canada or Australia or somewhere. GOOD RIDDANCE!! Anyone out there with the clout, gonads and network to organize such a boycott?

I share your sentiments. I don't patronize a local convenience store (a five-minute walk away) because it is owned by Pakistanis. I drive about three miles to a Quikchek to buy my paper, coffee and whatnot. There are many Quikcheks in northern New Jersey and none that I have visited (I love their coffee) employ middle eastern types, unlike Dunkin Donuts, 7-11 and independent convenience stores. I also purchase my gasoline from either Sunoco (Saudi-free) or BP (North Sea).

It might also surprise you to learn that many Arabs are not Muslim. My family is largely Jewish of largely arab extraction. I have many Christian, Druze and Muslim friends all of whom consider themselves Arab.

Using that definition, and as a Christian, I would consider our nation immoral as well.
