Imagine Watson, Daly, Mickelson, and Tiger all in he fray on Sunday..this is really the only event where that is possible. (and even Nicklaus has a shot at making the cut)

Tiger Woods and defending champion Mike Weir both had holes-in-one in the eve-of-Masters par-three competition at Augusta on Wednesday.

Woods aced the 135-yard ninth - and was almost followed in seconds later by Arnold Palmer.

The shot gave the world number one a four-under-par 23 for the fun nine-hole event and made him the early clubhouse leader.

No winner of the par three has ever gone on to capture the Masters title four days later.

Weir's ace came on the 70-yard second hole.

There were soon two more holes-in-one. Jay Haas matched the one by Woods and Phillip Price aced the 115-yard seventh.

Padraig Harrington did not have an ace, but he did equal Woods' total of 23 and they then had to wait to see if they would be in a play-off.

I heard Duvals story on Paul Harvey, it was pretty touching-I think he gave some bone marrow to his brother who later died and that is the reason behind the Darth Vader glasses.

"I'm sure Mickelson will be lurking somewhere"

Mickelson will lurk, then fade on day 4. That has been his trend over the last year or so. You heard it here first. Of course I am hoping for BIG Jon Daly to win. It could happen.

Dagnabit! My Mom-in-law (who lives in Augusta) called me with an extra ticket for today's rounds. I had to work and couldn't go. Now I wish I could have.

Oh, just wait until July or August. You won't even have to make a reservation. The best and probably the only good thing about the dog days of Summer in the Coachella Valley is that you can dine out anywhere with no hassle.

If they could get rid of that 1/2 inch mini cut of rough, everything would be perfect!

If that was waiting for me at home I wouldn't be able to concentrate on golf enough to sink a one-footer in a trough to the cup.

Newly-wed (March 6) David Duval stayed home here in Denver and will miss this year's Master's Tournament. (sigh)

He's been struggling with his swing and is feeling fine but, needs more time to re-vamp the swing.

Sources say, years of injuries has changed his swing dynamics and he is working hard to position himself back to the World-Class player that he is.
