He says Kennedy et al are afraid and pessimistic. No, they're not. They just want the people to be afraid. Kerry and his bunch know better but the media plays along with their fear tactics.
I wish this speech was "out there". But the only way it would get into the main stream press if if Bennett had referred to Kennedy as "The Senator who ran off a bridge".

I tried to gain information on Kennedy's votes during the Vietnam War, but the Lexus-Nexus Congressional voting record link that is accessible through the library I use only went up to 1985. Does anyone have any info on how Kennedy voted on the war? I'd have to assume that since his brother was President and then succeeded by Johnson, that 'ol Teddy voted along party lines when it came to things pertaining to the war. I find his allegations that Iraq is Bush's Vietnam to be hypocritical (big surprise there...not), since he more than likely voted in support of the Democrat President's actions during that time.
