You are losing the big picture. This is our outpost, our place in the middle east. I guess you may think it is not our job, and maybe it isn't, but it is in our interests to have a democratic country there. Otherwise we wouldn't be there. The point is that Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism are married in that part of the world and we are simply trying to effect a divorce first.
