And, in case you haven't noticed, most Iraqis (and that includes most Shiites) are opposed to al-Sadr and his attacks on coalition forces. You're never going to satisfy the extremists -- just as die-hard Democrats in this country would never support Bush regardless of what he does for this nation. Didn't the Marines take over that area from the Army two weeks ago? Their casualty rates appear astonishing. They must be employing more aggresive tactics, which make them more vulnerable to the crazy Arabs carrying guns & RPGs.
