A decision is easy to make, once you have considered all options and thought through every possible angle. In other words, it takes a lot of thinking. Give Bush a chance. There are too many variables in play here to just rush in and do something stupid. Once you've burned a bridge you're likely stuck on the side of the river that you don't want to be on.

I know my son is not in that AO, but a close family friend is (or was, we arn't sure right now) in Sadr city with the 2/2 ACR...

fine, the war against terrorism. since there aren't too many irish catholics crashing planes into buildings, the bases in iraq will come in handy, as opposed to focusing on scotland.
