I wouldn't call them scoutphobic as much as I would call them scoutpredatoric. They certainly do not fear scouts, but they do seek to destroy them.

As a parent of an Eagle Scout, I support the BSA. Would love to see the ACLU brought down.

You are absolutely right and allowing those BSA assaulting pin heads to call themselves Progressives is asinine. Aggressives is more definitive.

Congress responded to cases of anti-Scout animus in 2001 by voting to withhold federal education dollars from public schools that bar the doors to the Scouts while allowing other groups to use their facilities. Forty-two Senate Democrats voted against this effort to ensure equal treatment for the Scouts -- INCLUDING JOHN KERRY.

You are so right! The Aggressives had better BACK OFF the kids.

Senator Kerry, "Who do you stand with sir, The Boy Scouts of America or Atheist Homosexuals?"
To: TexasCajun
As a Boy Scout, I had great times. Well, except for that camporee where it rained for three straight days. And the time I ate the spoiled hamburger meat. I couldn't look at a bowl of chili for twenty years. Then there was the time Doug falsified our patrol's score during the competition of a national jamboree. He was from Arkansas.
At Scout Camp we swamped canoes, on purpose, found petrified sharks teeth, etc. But basically we all enjoyed scouting. It was fun. We did church and community service. We were around adults who were good role models. We had a gay guy too. Not everyone was a member of the church where we met. I wasn't. We were taught good citizenship though, and if anyone had told us, that scouting would come under political attack -- we would have laughed. From who? By whom? Who wouldn't like Boy Scouts? It's hard to believe.
