THe isteresting question arises: If there s a Bush landslide, what will the Media do?
To: Gothmog
You got that right, CFR is really working with these people being allowed to spout their hate and venom for the president. May they all rot in Hell

The liberals in Hollywood are losing conservatives each time they play politics on these shows. Must be they believe their liberal base will support their advertisers. I don't give them a moment of my time, and I've stopped reading/listening to press from sources other than freerepublic.

If Bush wins the liberal media will have nonstop whining and nitpicking, just like they are doing now. Nothing will change.

I recall two Simpsons episodes a few months back that VERY pointedly said "With the stock market down lately"

shows with patriotic streaks like "J.A.G."
Only network show I watch besides "King of the Hill" - unabashedly patriotic and pro-military. Good ensemble acting too - great show!

THe isteresting question arises: If there s a Bush landslide, what will the Media do? A media implosion - that would be fun to watch.

I am just shocked, shocked that this has happened. For some time, the "newer" Law and Order shows have promoted a very liberal opinion and mocked traditional values and traditionalists. I just stopped watching!

(Sure they want to tone down the rhetoric. We are winning.)

I'm not surprised. Frankly, I wonder what took them so long to bring out their true colors. We stopped watching prime time TV years ago and I've yet to miss it. Frankly I wonder what the draw was -- liberal idiots pushing their view of the world. Ugh.

And how about this moron:
"Mr. Fontana said he wrote a film for HBO called 'Strip Search' to explore the merits of the USA Patriot Act. The film, which has not been shown yet, tracks the parallel experiences of an American woman being held for questioning by the authorities in China and a Muslim man being held for questioning in the United States, both on suspicions of terrorism.
"'The real question is, if it's wrong for a white American woman to be mistreated in a repressive country, is it O.K. for us to mistreat a Muslim male in this country?' he said. 'I don't know the answer, but when does the humanity stop and the fear take over?'"
Well, jackass, the difference is:
'White American women' haven't been indoctrinating their kids with a 'hate the Chinese, kill them whenever you can' creed.
'White American women' haven't launched murderous attacks on Chinese civilians and military personnel over the last 15 years.
'White American women' didn't just bomb important Chinese buildings and kill thousands of innocent civilians.
You "don't know the answer" because you're either a moron or a communist.

The condition effecting Hollywood personalities is called, "hubris". They have become so divorced from reality that they really believe that the public will follow them anywhere and pay anything to watch them. If they continue, they will find out that what is happening in the music industry could quite easily spread to film. I guess they thought that what happened to the Dixie Chicks was an isolated occurrence.

The last two episodes of "The Practice" had anti-Bush comments....It seems all of the shows are showing their producers political leanings....

These people should be regulated by the FEC and CFR as they have broken the law. There should be forced balance on the networks or they should be forbidden to support a candidate. All should have equal representation or NONE should have it!I consider these programs to be political ads.

On the NBC show "Whoopi," the hotelier played by Whoopi Goldberg delivered an anti-Bush screed when the president, played by a lookalike, appeared at her establishment to use the facilities.Smart, real smart. Including lines in your script intended to offend half your audience and make them stop watching. Oh wait, lots of them already have stopped watching. Never mind.

No more Law and Order. It won't be to hard to boycott 'Whoopie', since I didn't even know she was on TV. The Larry David Show is pretty funny, but I can live without it.
