"There's no reason to have this type of weapon other than to kill a human being." Have at the idiot police commissioner, folks.

Just to clarify, if I become a Police Officer I'll still consider myself a citizen.

Is the commissioner scared?
If he is frightened by such a weapon, imagine how an unarmed population would respond to this weapon.

They're not only shooting citizens. They're shooting police officers. Anything I can do, anything law enforcement can do, we're totally and completely for it," Johnson said. Who's "THEY?" It would seem to me that if "THEY" are shooting citizens and police officers, it would be more important to get them, i.e. "THEY" off the street. That's like saying that if they (a different "they" this time) were to outlaw fire, then there wouldn't be any problem with arson! I wonder just how many police officers have been shot at with these "mean, bad" weapons, vs other types of firearms.

That's what mine are for. I guess I *could* hunt animals with them if I needed to, though.
