Parents Sound Off on Sexual Harassment at Cheyenne Junior High

A parent who did not give her name did not go into detail other than saying her daughter was sexually harassed. She said her daughter tried to report it three times without action. Her daughter finally beat up the boy.

I taught my girls to box. Plus they can be very mean like their mom.

My thinking exactly. What does this particular incident have to do with school? It is a criminal act. You report it to police as an assault, plain and simple.

"She was frustrated because she said she went to the police department. Police said she had to go through the school officer, who didn't call her back. She went to the district attorney's office, where staff said they had to go to the school because it was a school incident."

Seems like no one wants to take responsibility. They all like to natter on about students taking "responsibility" for all sorts of things, but when push comes to shove, they can't be bothered.

Maybe the parents in this school would have a better chance if they contacted the federal Department of Education's civil rights division like that Muslim girl with that scarf on her head is doing. Let them investigate.

If a girl is sexually assaulted on K-mart property because it is a "K-Mart" incident?

If a criminal act is committed within the confines of the US, it is the responsibility of the local police. If it is a federal offense, the FBI gets involved.

Pretty simple really, and you cannot be intimidated by a cop if you firmly believe he MUST file a report when you claim to be the victim of a CRIME.

That is literally his job - and pretty much all he's good for anyway.
