Another photo too awful for me to post:

Children point to a body part, tied to a brick and hanging from a telephone cable

So you are saying that the US military should emulate the methods of the Waffen SS in Iraq? I thought they were supposed to be "liberators"? I'm more and more starting to think the whole Iraq war was a mistake.

Thats what I was told. That were were liberators and Iraqis now loved American's. These people are beyond disgusting and morbid. That POS country isn't worth the life of one single American.

Big tests ahead for us, Americans and the West:

i.e.,

Whether the USA can actually democratize and civilize these savage barbarians, bringing them into Western Civilization, through the often flawed concept of "nation building" which we are now no doubt FULLY engaged in, in the midst of a hot guerilla war.

and,

whether the USA, it's media and general public, are emotionally and strategically well-equipped in our Western Benevolent Mindset, to handle this kind of stuff, and really will know what to do when confronted with these and other very skillful (if not dastardly) professional act(s) of PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE.

We may really need to send in some boys who work on the dark side of things, to do some acts of vengeance, very nasty acts under cover of darkness perhaps, and start this by tracking down the young Iraqi demonstrators in Fallujah whose faces are clearly displayed at the Mutilation Party they had today over there.

Our policy should be that anyone celebrating at the site of a killing, or desecrating corpses, will be assumed to be in collaboration with the killers and will be shot on sight.

(snicker) Like that will happen.

Diversity reigns. Wouldn't want to be insensitive to another culture's "beliefs" now would we?

This is a freakin' outrage, too sickening for words. The city should lose its fresh water today! Make the apes pay for their crimes.

I would have to vote for a very deliberate and accurate response. It has to be swift, deadly and targeted at those directly responsible. "You do this and the consequences are this." If we go mamby pamby they will only get bolder and bolder until the country is in worse shape than it is now.

The entire Iraqi situation is going to be tough for Bush in November. Not only does he have to combat the liberal media and the spin they put on reporting about terrosism, he has to keep the economy headed in the right direction. All of this with a little dog named Kerry snapping around his hills. Not a good position for the setting president no matter which party they are from, but probably worse for a republican.

What is the US government waiting for? The whole town of Fallujah are combatants! I'm so tired of seeing our soldiers trying to fight a war while being handcuffed by political correctness!!

We need to level Fallujah to set a precedent for others. Everytime an event like this goes by without being dealt with properly, it causes peoples moral to drop (including our soldiers in Iraq)!

If the President wants us to keep our chins up then we need to see animal's like this dealt with! We have let things like this go unchecked on several occasions throughout our short existence of a country, and every time it has led to low moral and loss of hope.

From an very, very Angry American!

US Military should be given strict orders that any "civilian" seen throwing rocks at US soldiers should be shot on sight. Since the AP has extensive film on the "dragging of the bodies", we should take that film and track down those who are seen commiting this act. Those caught should be arrested (sometimes people get hurt resisting arrest) and tried by a US military court. Punishment should be severe.

"The people of Fallujah hanged some of the bodies on the old bridge like slaughtered sheep,"

Beneath the bodies, a man held a printed sign with a skull and crossbones and the phrase "Fallujah is the cemetery for Americans."

I say give the "The people of Fallujah" a taste of a couple of Big Blues(MOABS)

We will make Fallujah a CEMETERY , PERIOD!!!!

We will make Fallujah a CEMATERY for

I am telling you, if this kind of crap in Iraq continues into November, then Mr. Bush has lost the election, IMHO.

Sorry to be negative about it, but I think the mindset of vast segments of the US electorate will be just to walk away from all the damn Middle Eastern mess....regardless of perhaps the larger negative geopolitical ramifications for us and the World of doing just that.

I know their playbook. You can bet the Democrats will demogogue on this one heavily, and quite to their benefit, they will be narrow, power-hungry political partisans FIRST, and long term, strategic, team-playing patriotos SECOND.

Plus, let's not forget the unspoken reasons for going into Iraq:

-- To secure locations for long-term US bases in the heart of the Islamofascists.
-- To put the fear of Allah into the governments of Syria and Iran among others.
-- To entice the terrorists to wage their battles in Iraq rather than here.
-- To, and this is a tough one, to hopefully develop a democratic Iraqi government that can take hold. Freedom and democracy have a way of spreading over time.

We all must remember and realize that this war on terror is really a World War that will take years and perhaps decades to wage.
